How does the IBEX Lower Operating Cost Guarantee work?
- Purchasers of the V2DC system are able to ensure that the annual operating costs for maintaining the IBEX V2DC are at a fixed rate – For more information on the cost - contact your local distributor directly.
- All parts required for the year are paid for up front by customers and customers hold their own inventory
- To validate the IBEX Lower Operating Cost Guarantee, purchases are required to register on the IBEX Website – this process allows IBEX to match claims the Guarantee Kit against the correct unit. The registration process also assists with future claims.
- During registration, purchasers of the V2DC Lower Operating Costs Guarantee will be asked to enter the serial numbers for the Hand piece assembly, Control box assembly and the Transformer assembly and the serial number for the Guarantee Kit.
- Once validated, IBEX will send out an “IBEX Guarantee Certificate” via email
- The IBEX Guarantee Certificate included a unique number which must be used during any claim against the guarantee.
- Purchasers of the IBEX Lower Operating Cost Guarantee also receive as an additional extra, an “Extended Warranty”.
- The “Extended Warranty” doubles all standard warranties offered by IBEX for the V2DC Trimming System. – That’s a 12 month Warranty, at no extra cost.
- All IBEX Lower Operating Cost Guarantee Kits must be purchased via distributors.
How do I make a Guarantee Claim?
- Contact your distributor first to let them know of the problem you are experiencing
- If your Distributor is an IBEX Certified Agent, they will take care of the rest

What are the terms and conditions?
- Offer is valid from 1st June 2006, until further notice
- IBEX will guarantee that customers will only use the items provide in the IBEX Guarantee Kit during normal operation, when adhering to the IBEX Maintenance Program (Supplied within the kit)
- Where a customer requires more parts than were supplied, these parts will be supplied FOC if they meet the guarantee criteria (Listed above in the “ How does the IBEX Lower Operating Cost Guarantee work?” and “How Do I make a Guarantee Claim?” sections)
- Where the Guarantee Criteria is not met, IBEX will inform the customer of this, and additional items will be charged for on an as needed basis.
- Customers are required to return all used items to distributors for evaluation, in order to attain the Free of Charge items under the guarantee
- Customers agree to receive automatic email reminders from IBEX for parts which require replacement.
- Payment for the extended warranty is required up front to the distributors.
- The IBEX Guarantee is only available at point of original purchase – i.e. not 2 months later
- The IBEX Guarantee offer is only available to sales of complete V2DC trimming systems
- The IBEX Guarantee must be purchased for all IBEX units on plant,
- IBEX will only provide the manufacturers extended warranty certificate to a customer upon registration of the extended warranty – either online or via fax
- The IBEX Guarantee does not cover consumable items for the V2DC ( i.e. Trimmer head, Pinions, Blades or Housings and related consumables for the modular Trimmer Heads), it covers the V2DC control box, the cable mountings, and the V2DC hand piece – for a full list of parts excluded, contact IBEX
